VK Video’s daily audience hits 55 mln people after 1 yr of work

MOSCOW, Oct 17 (PRIME) -- The active daily audience of VK Video, a project of Russian social network VKontakte, has exceeded 55 million people in the first year of work while the average daily views on the platform of VK’s video technologies, comprising VK Video and VK Clips, rose 40% to 2.41 billion, the network, owned by Internet company VK, said on Monday.

A record is 3 billion views a day, VKontakte said.

More than 14,000 communities have joined the video monetization program over the year, and their number soared by 300%in July–September.

VKontakte also said that 9 million people watch videos offline every month.
